Dear Parents, Relatives and Friends;

The Santa Cruz County Junior Golf Association (SCCJGA) encourages parents, relatives and friends to come out and support their favorite Junior Golfer(s).  However, to ensure fair competition for all competitors, the SCCJGA has a policy for spectators.  The SCCJGA appreciates your understanding and support on this matter.

SPECTATOR POLICY

Spectators shall remain 25 yards from the competitors.  Exception – when aiding in the search for golf balls.

Spectators shall stay on cart paths.  In the absence of cart paths, spectators shall stay in the rough.

Spectators are not allowed on greens or tee boxes.

Spectators are not allowed to give advice, walk alongside competitors, give cart rides, or help the competitors in any way.

Spectators are allowed to aid in the search for golf balls.

Spectators are not allowed to give rulings.  Please seek a SCCJGA staff member when the need arises.

Please turn off or put cell phones in silent or vibrate mode.

The SCCJGA staff will assess a penalty to a player based on the severity of the spectator violation.

Many of you do a great job adhering the spectator policy and the SCCJGA thanks you!  The SCCJGA hopes all of you will help in emphasizing the importance of fairness, sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie and fun while attending the events.  Thank you!
