Program Summary:

Our SCCJGA lesson program is designed for the new and beginning junior golfer, targeting out Green Card players. It is an excellent program with the sole purpose of developing and providing a solid foundation that all great swings are built from.   Our program is developed and taught by one of the top golf schools in Santa Cruz, Functional Golf professional teaching program up at Delaveaga golf course. 

Sponsorship Program-   Our sponsorship program is set up to encourage our new and beginning golfers to take lessons so they can have a solid foundation as they begin learning to play the game of golf. We offer a $40 dollar sponsorship towards levels 1 and 2 for a total of $80 dollars for current SCCJGA members. We will also be having Free clinics during the year(see Calendar) and you can sign up after those.

The program is comprised of Four levels of instruction:

Level 1 - For the new golfer or just beginning, most of these players have never played the game and this would be there first lessons.

Level 2 - For the beginning golfer who has been through level 1 or already been taught the basic swing from another teaching pro, parents or self taught.

Level 3 and 4 - For golfers who have completed levels 1 and 2 and are ready for more advanced training. Each level requires more precision, detailed movements and better self-discipline and self-control
